What does it take to enter the Pure Science stream?

I'm a Malaysian student in Form 3 taking the PMR exam in October. Like all students, I want to enter the Pure Science stream? What are the core subjects to enter the Pure Science stream? And will my substandard Chinese test results pull me down?
